Although allegedly based on the novel by Dodie Smith, this live-action adaptation of the classic Dalmatian tale feels more inspired by Walt Disney’s animated 1961 adaptation. In some says this was the start of the Disney studio’s fixation on remaking all of their own movies. Still a great film with incredible dog work and dozens of trainers involved in the production.
