Huge starring role for “Candy” who appears in nearly every scene. Also a great chance to see more traditional Corgi confirmation before the breed was so compromised by the whims of fashion.

Murder She Purred: A Mrs. Murphy Mystery * Year: 1998 * Country: US * Breed content: High

A Disney TV movie based on a novel about a crime-solving cat (“Mrs. Murphy”) and her Corgi sidekick, “Tucker”. He plays the comic relief. Only ever commercially released on VHS.

The Cardigan Welsh Corgi has never found lasting acclaim of the better-known Pembroke in the film world. The only one to achieve real Hollywood fame was Bud in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
