The Brussels Griffon, Griffon Bruxellois, or “little monkey dog” received international attention in 1997 with the release of As Good As It Gets. Everyone wanted to know what was that funny little dog. It seems they also may have peaked then. You can see Griffons in several films, but no starring roles.
