A popular breed in their native Finland, the Karelian Bear Dog gained international fame for patrolling in major parks in North America and Japan with their handlers to reduce conflicts between park guests and bears. These hunting dogs are now keeping the peace between humans and wildlife. In film work they are rare, although surely appear in some Finnish movies. Let us know if you see any!
